Lisa Gade reviews the OnePlus 5T Android smartphone with a 6” AMOLED display in a body that’s similar in size to the 5.5” OnePlus 5. The 5T moves up to a tall widescreen 18:9 aspect ratio 2160 x 1080 display with smaller bezels while retaining the classy anodized aluminum casing and Gorilla Glass 5 build and comfy curved back. As ever with OnePlus, you get a fast phone with the fastest available CPU— the Snapdragon 835 with 8 or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage.

The phone runs Android 7.1 based Oxygen OS and Android 8 Oreo is coming in Q1 2018. This is a GSM unlocked phone with CAT12 LTE 4G, VoLTE support and 2 nano SIM card slots. It has a 16MP front camera and a new rear camera system comprised of a 16MP f/1.7 main camera and a 20P f/1.7 secondary camera used to improve low light shots and for Portrait mode with bokeh (blurred backgrounds). A Dash fast charge is included in the box and the phone has a 3300 mAh battery. Pricing starts at $499.
