Lisa Gade reviews Huion’s highest end drawing monitor offering, the 21.5” Kamvas GT-221 Pro that competes with the Wacom Cintiq 22HD and other Chinese pen displays. The included rechargeable pen has 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity, and uses EMR technology. The IPS 1920 x 1080 matte display has full sRGB coverage and connectors for USB, DVI, HDMI and VGA (all cables except DVI are included). The display is available on Amazon and other retailers and list price is $899.

The Huion is Mac and Windows compatible and works with art and design programs like Photoshop, Corel Painter, and many more.

The smaller 19” Kamvas GT-191 is considerably less expensive at $499, and uses the same pen technology but lacks the side mounted express keys. It’s available on Amazon here: .
